If it’s not under 5/24 would be a good card to stack with the BA one for a ton of miles since you can transfer points between the 2, anybody apply yet?

looks like not 5/24 seen comment as on reddit of somebody approved way over

Upon reading the comments, someone linked to Reddit. The card is NOT subject to the 5/24 rule. The person that applied was way over that and still got approved for the card.

Thanks everyone, added to OP.

I also wonder what other benefits this card gives, like the primary rental coverage and all that travel related insurances, and purchase protection etc. The BA card does provide some of these, but never been able to find a full benifit guide for this new card.

If the points are as unvaluable as British Airways Avios I think I will skip it. Huge fuel surcharges make the points pretty useless other than to get .6 cents of value on hotel booking.

Wow, that 10% discount could be huge and doesn't seem to have any restrictions other than booking through a specific URL and paying with the card. My bronze spade thanks Iberia for being OneWorld and not SkyTeam!

I go to Spain often, and I wish I could fly Iberia, but, alas, they don't fly from Washington Dulles anymore. I would have to connect via JFK, Boston, or Miami to catch an Iberia flight to Madrid. Sadly, I'm stuck with United during the high season (May-September), because they're the only nonstop between Washington and Madrid. The rest of the year, I fly Lufthansa and change in Frankfurt or Munich because I would rather get across the ocean on my first flight than make a time-consuming connection in a US city and risk being stuck in that city overnight when the plane has mechanical problems.

By the way, Iberia and British both use Avios, but Iberia apparently does not impose the same massive fuel surcharges that British imposes, so if you live in a US city served by Iberia, and you like Spain, this credit card might be a good deal.
