New Amex Offer - Lowe's $10 or 1000 MR

There's a new Amex Offer for Lowe's, it's either $10 back for a $50 purchase or 1000 MR points for a $50 purchase. I had the offer on all three of my cards ($10 on BCP, 1000 MRs on ED and PRG).

Data points on DoC indicate that many people are seeing the offer, but some have reported not getting it on Hilton cards.

Edit - the 1K MR points offer is on 4 of my cards and the $10 off on one. Easy 4K MR points and $10 back coming up!

2nd edit - Gets better 1K offer on 2 of my g/fs cards and 3 $10 cashback. Going to get the max out of this offer as it is perfect timing

😐 I literally just left there about an hr ago. I didn’t make a huge purchase, but I definitely spent more than $50.

I think that's referring to GCs bought through the corporate program; in practice I've successfully triggered the offer by purchasing Amazon GCs before.

I'll have a new data point shortly.

Oh good. Let me know how it turns out. I have a large upcoming purchase with Lowes so 6 or $50 gift cards would be nice

Only seeing the $10 off on my PRG, not the MR points offer.

The $10 off is also on my Delta Gold card.

Added the offer to both cards with the seperate tabs trick.

Multiple tabs and added to Platinum, PRG, Blue, SPG and Delta. Platinum and PRG also have additional MR per dollar that will stack from experience. Thanks!

Not sure if they do Level III in-store. Home Depot does for online purchases but I have not done a work purchase at Lowe’s.

Hey Irish actually the corporate gift cards are just that. They are meant for businesses to buy to give to employees or cusotmers and are different than the retail Lowe's gift cards. Anything on the gift card rack whether Lowe's or other merchant gift cards will trigger the credit or points. I hit these offers for discounted Amazon GC's all the time. Chase Offer's also has Lowe's from time to time and GC's will trigger the Chase credit too.

I just got back from Lowe's, and I have an email for each of my cards.

I know this is conditional on the transaction posting, but in the past I've had good luck with Lowe's Amex Offers anyway so I feel confident that this will work.

An added bonus for me... my Lowe's now has Kroger GCs! While Amazon GCs are as good as cash for me I already have a substantial Amazon GC credit balance, so getting the equivalent of 20% back for $150 in Kroger purchases is especially nice!

Marginally on-topic, but has anyone ever not been credited for an Amex offer after receiving that email (or push notification on the phone, or both in my case)? So far, I'm batting a thousand.

Very topical, IMO... in my experience, I've always received credit whenever I got the email.

On other hand, I've also received credit for an offer when I met the terms but didn't get the email (i.e. Sam's Club offer from December), but now I'm getting OT.

Didn't have any MR offers **bleep**.. Although did get the 10$ off with multiple tabs and many double points as well multiple tabs.. Got it across 5 of my 6 amex's, not to bad .. I will take 50 dollars for 250 in spend which will be very easy on a frigging new house. They will probably wonder why I want to put my purchase across 5 amex cards being the cashier's lol

I've got the double-point offer as well on my ED and PRG, but when you drill-down it's only for Lowes.com.

With a little luck it will trigger anyway (in addition to the 1000 MRs), but I'm not counting on it.

I also wonder what determines if you get points or the statement credit. While I don't mind banking MRs for a rainy day, I would personally much prefer the statement credit on the MR earning cards.

As a rule of thumb, on my MR cards the overwhelming majority of offers are for MRs and also appear as equivalent 1cpp cash back on non-MR cards. I prefer MRs myself.

Just closing the loop... the $10 credit for my BCP and the 1000 MRs for my ED and PRG posted this AM:

This was the easiest $10/2k MRs I've earned in a while. Hopefully they'll have another "good" offer again soon!
