Bank of America Balance Transfer question

Just requested my first balance transfer from a Cap 1 QS1 card to my new BofA Cash Rewards card today. Looking for anyone that has done a BT to BofA. Mainly, approximately how long does the entire process takes?

With this being a new account you can expect at least a 14 day wait period...or at least that's what it was in my experience.

yes, like Loquat said. My first BT took about 14 days.

My second and third BTs took about 5 days. Also, from a timng perspective, the process at the "from" institution matters as well.

Update: I got an email yesterday morning saying that BofA had finished my BT. I checked BofA today and the funds have been processed and are not pending anymore. Now, just waiting for CAP 1 to acknowledge the funds and to start to apply them to my account. I started the process this past Monday 3/12/18 which will be a week this coming Monday.

I think that this has gone pretty smoothly so far and at least this time, it has gone a little quicker than it did for other's. But, it is not complete yet. I will update again when it is all complete.
