I could find only a Discover deal with 15-20$ on turbotax. Is there any other deal?

Does it have to be TurboTax? If your taxes aren’t too complicated you can file for free with Credit Karma and it includes free e-file for state and federal. I also noticed a link on my CapitalOne mobile app that offers free H&R Block service. CapitalOne wanted to access the data if I agreed to use it and so I decided not to do it. I used CK for the second year in a row and it worked great.

If alternates are in play, I got a huge discount on H&R Block Deluxe with State at Best Buy and got an extra $5 BB gift card. I think it cost me like $20 net but I used BB rewards certificates. Buying direct from HRB earns 5 SkyMiles per dollar through SkyMiles Shopping right now, also.

My only concern with these deals is how much personal data is shared. The Irs site has info about free ones that I trust a lot more.

I too got a great deal with H&R Block. Speaking of taxes, this is the last year I will need to itemize thanks to the new tax bill and the 12K standard deduction! So excited that I will never need H&R or Turbotax again and no more Schedule A hassles.
