What was your first credit card?

Mine was a Capital One High School Student MasterCard. I was 18, a senior in HS, and my spending limit was $200. February 2000

I was so happy to get it because I could finally buy stuff online and pay for my AOL account.

I looked the website up on Web Archive. I chose the Mountain Lake Design.

2002, a freshman in college. Zales Jewerly store card. I was walking in the mall and they had an application booth up. Guy promised a 50 dollar gift card or a pair of silver earings for signing up. Never used the card, or gift card, and it was closed down 4 years later.

First statement letter went to my home address and my mom thought I had gotten some girl pregnant.

I got my first credit card in 2008. It was a Rewards Signature Card from USAA. The credit limit amount was $1.9k.
