Rush delivery available for replacement AmEx?

My BCP chip is acting up, reading as chip malfunctioning at the terminals. Is it possible to get an overnight or FedEx delivery for a replacement? Would have preferred it.

I’ve already replaced mine and will be in my box on or by 4/3.

Yes. When you select the reason for replacement - which in your case is damage - it defaults to regular mail delivery but you have the option of changing it to overnight delivery free of charge before submitting your replacement order.

You can do online or phone doesn't matter. Just make sure if you do it over the phone that you specifically ask for it since they normally send it regular mail since you can technically use your current card. And depends on when you submitted your order. Might be too late to request it overnight but doesn't hurt to try if you want it rushed.

This is how it would look online requesting a damage replacement. Again, defaults to regular mail but can change it to overnight option when you select it and can keep using old card in meantime.

That sucks. They probably have a limited window to change the order before they can't do anything about it.

She said I would have needed to wait 24H. Not wasting my time or the plastic on it. lol. 😁

I just wish places would update for contactless, especially grocery stores! **bleep** chips take forever! 😓😒

I'm slowly coming around to this since I started Google Pay more and my sisters use Apple Pay. Can't really use it around our town but in the city pretty much every store we shop at has contactless ability.

I didn’t use it at all on my old phone, when I got my new iPhone, I set it up, it was pretty quick & easy, and using it is a breeze. Plus, I get a notification everytime I use any of my cards (not using it on amazon for some reason). Talk about catching fraud on your accounts.

It's great that you now have access to your accnts online or by Mobile, What good is a number on the back of the card, if it is lost or stolen? lol

That's good to know.

When i was on vacation in Mexico, I put all my CC contact info on my phone's memo app jst in case they were lost or stolen while there.

So it would be a handy tool for all of them to offer mobile access. Or if they have a "virtual card" option, just in case htey can't get it to you quick enough. Would they even ship it to you on vacation in a Foriegn Country?

Depending on the country yes last time I recall they send them out DHL. Speed of replacement depends on where you're at though.

Just got a replacement PRG FedEx’ed in, pics to show the different look old (top) and new. Sparkly!Old up top, replacement is darker and looks sprinkled, LOLAngle shot.
