PayPal Mastercard Email Offer

Hello Guys,

I received an email from PayPal stating " Congratulations...you have been invited to apply for their Mastercard...."

First of all, is this even legit? I do not have a paypal account currently ( I believe I had one years ago when they first started out).

Secondly, is this even a real card, or is it something that I could only use if I had a paypal account?

I'm gardening anyway...but I guess, I was just confused as to how they targeted me being as though I never use Paypal. Just seems odd to me.

Anyone have any experience with this?

Yes it's legit - see the card in my siggy.

It's marketing, due to your PayPal account from years ago.

Awesome! I'll think about it...I just thought it was strange to get a random email from them. But ok.

You'll have to reestablish your Paypal account to get the Paypal credit card, which you may or may not be interested in doing.

FWIW, I get the same email solicitation about every other week... it's just marketing to their current (and apparently, former) customers.

Yes , I get a switcheroo every other week for the Extras or 2% card. I would go for it were it not for my already high Sync exposure
