Finally clean but nothing to apply for

Well I finally cleaned my reports but unfortunately I can’t find anything interesting anymore to apply for. I got most of the decent cards that I wasn’t blacklisted for during my rebuild. Feels odd

2 new accounts in Jan
1 auto loan in Dec
Those are my most recent additions
Over 5/24
Amex is the only BL I am on

Kinda like the dog that finally catches the car, you will get used to it though, time to sit back and watch the score rise even more as your new accounts age.

Congrats on the clean file OP! Now that you've done the hard work it's time to sit back and relax. Enjoy the fruits of labor. No need to apply for the sake of applying. If you're happy with your current line up then there's no need to add. If you're so inclined you can always browse the Approvals section of the forum and live vicariously through others. Congrats again and enjoy!

I don't know Loquat, that's like sending a recovering alcoholic to work at the liquor store. lol Personally, I got over the itch by heading over to Personal Finance and buried myself in high yield deposit accounts for a few months.

Congratulations! I found myself in a similar position about a year ago. There is a Chase card I want but I was over the 5/24 max so I couldn't apply for it anyway. The last year has just been sitting back and really doing nothing but getting soft pull CLI's on my cards. You could do that! See how many CLI's you can get without hard pulls.

I re-arranged my spending and fell in love with my Costco citicard. Inquiries have continued to disappear, accounts have continued to age and my scores are now the highest they've ever been. It's been a good year. I'll likely apply for that Chase card around Christmas time.

It's already paying off big time. Next is investment but I think I need to defrag my old brain a little before taking on more new stuff.
