Regular Amex Platinum - 3 days after paying for both myself and DW (kids paid out of pocket; will charge renewals to CSR and BoA PR cards next time). Payment made at time of application. Interview was months later (in another country).

Edit: Actually, since doing our Global Entry interview in Canada, I instantly regretted not getting NEXUS instead, which includes Global Entry and TSA PreCheck. It’s only $50 per person, but unfortunately it’s not covered by any of the cards. We do go to Canada 1-3 times a year, so maybe it’s worth just paying the $200 out of pocket to use the Nexus lanes going INTO Canada and being able to use them if we flew? (Global Entry holders can use Nexus lanes for land crossings back into the US.)
