So on my AMeX, I’m guessing due to a question of transaction that I reported as fraud, my account was adjusted, and my limit went from 3k to 1k.. so how long should I wait before I request an increase?

Nope they decreased it during the hurricane when I had massive swipes on my other accounts. But I was surprised they reduced my limit. Was probably around Dec or Jan. I requested for an increase last week and the letter stated can’t request due to recent decrease.

I’m guessing 6 months is the time frame?

Agree with Irish, AA usually happens for a reason and if its Amex doing it, I wouldn't concern myself with cli and focus on what caused it.Sorry to hear Random

I only thought it was due to the fraud situation because it almost immediately happened after my case was handled. And a good 2 months after my house repair swipes.. very confused.

That is high. If it has been high for several months, that might be enough to make Amex consider you a riskier customer.

Amex doesn't only look at the health of your Amex card (low balance, timely payments, etc.). It also looks at your other accounts and may not consider them healthy.

The fraud was probably not the cause of the decrease, but it was likely the event that caused Amex to put eyes on your account, and that’s when they say the high utilization on other accounts.

Lol being on my second chance with Amex I make sure to pif no matter what just so to never burn them again. Having gone through a bk keeps me conscious about trying not to rack up too much balances. Now if only I can start at zero again lol
