Yes - correct about Discover IT. I just went through all previous statements and the 30 days behind idea seems to make sense in most cases except not all. Perhaps because purchases were made on 5/9and 5/10 that were larger purchases the points lagged the statement. I hope that makes sense. The only offers I’ve enrolled in I used months ago and have already received bonuses for. if it was something I was auto enrolled in then I didn’t see it on the MR statement.

I have a very bizarre circumstance. Let me say first, I am not complaining, but I'm just confused. So since my last statement, I have only put $374 on my PRG. I have been doing almost all spend on IT to maximize 1st year cash back. When my statement cut today, my MR account was 3,094 points richer. I checked the breakdown and nothing out of the ordinary seemed prevelant. The month prior 4/11 -5/11, I maybe spent about 3,000 on the card, and got the expected 4600 points - no surprises there. Again I was happily shocked when I opened my app this morning. Does anyone know what I'm missing?

Membership Rewards points are delayed by a full statement. So the points you just received are from the previous statement unless there was an Amex offer. Here's a screenshot from my rewards detail; you'll see that the date that the statement MRs posted was the following month while everything else was instant:

Have you been reading your statements correctly? For me at least, my statement rewards are one month behind. Meaning the points that you just received are from last months statement, not the last 30 days, and your next statement will reward what your current statement balance is. That’s how mine works anyways.

For some reason I though IT referred the PRG that capped off the preceding sentence. I don't use Discover so the IT card is not usually in my recall space. That makes more sense. I thought they instituted the "blockchain" rewards program that lets certain merchants offer more rewards or something. There was a minute when Boxed showed as a 5x earner on certain things. I don't believe that required enrollment; I did not use it, but I am trying to locate that information.
