Contactless Credit Cards (Tap and Pay)

Other than Amex, which credit cards have a chip with ncf capability for contactless (tap and pay) transaction? I'm already knowledgeable about the Google Pay/Android Pay options. Thanks for all anticipated responses!

Citi's Costco card, Sprint's credit card, and Paypal's debit cards all have contactless.

Totally forgot my Quicksilver has this! Thing never gets used in store though because I have Double Cash so Quicksilver is relegated to foreign purchases since it's my best no FTF.

Actually the tech behind Apple and Google Pay is very similar to an NFC card in how it processes the transaction as a token..and really is not your card number...

Seems up to date, but misses out on A LOT of CUs. I'm aware that at least Stanford FCU and Elements Financial also offer contactless cards.

They missed my credit union also. No FTF, no AF. And you must use your pin to use the credit card they issue. https://www.rbfcu.org/loans/credit-cards

I don't think any of my cards are contactless, but is there a way to tell? Is there something visible on the card, such as a logo or a chip (other than the contact chip), to indicate that the card has the contactless feature?

I think that site is user-contributed, so it's no surprise that a lot of cards are missing.

As for PIN, I used to be all for it until I realized how much of a pain it actually is in the US. I'm sure it would be better if way more cards have it, but considering that banks would rather have transactions authorized without any verification, I don't see that happening any time soon.

So for most cards, Amex will only include the contactless feature upon request?

It seems odd that Costco cards get contactless but Prestige/Premier/AAExec/AAPlatinum don't.

The POS terminals at Costco's original store (4th Ave. S., Seattle) can't even take contactless.

I don't think contactless has been an option at any of the 4-ish warehouses where I've used the card.

Called Amex Platinum service to request a contactless card...and the rep had no idea what I was talking about.

He looked it up and was able to help me, but it's a bit surprising for premium service in 2018.
