I've noticed that Hooters has upped me a couple of times in the last few months, but only by 200-300 a time. Do they ever do more than that?

I applied for a Target Visa card to test things, and I was approved, but only 500 bucks. At least its the first card I have with no annual fee.

ask for a credit limit increase on the cards I already have, or seek a new credit card.

I have the Hooters Card, and Best Buy Rewards Zone mastercard, with both having an annual fee.

My score went up about 57 points in the last week and I am now in the high 600's. I like the best buy card since it gives me points towards stuff i would actually use, but the hooters was a springboard.

Hooters CL is 1500 and the Best Buy is 650, I really need to increase my limits or get a card with a higher limit. Any ideas or suggestions?

with those 2 accounts. hooters you can't ask for cli, it's automatic if available.

best buy mastercard many have reported they couldn't get an increase.

so if your in the high 600's I would apply for something more prime

With high 600s and clean credit files, i'd certainly try a BOA Platinum plus VISA. There are some other good options as well depending upon what your report is like. I agree with PP in that you should apply for another card.

If you really want a CLI on the BB MC, I would call CS and talk to a manager who might be able to give you a little something.

Hooters doesn't take requests from consumers, they only issue auto-CLI's as someone mentioned earlier.
