How often does AMEX SP?

According to my AMEX FICO score on their website, my score displayed is as of June 20th. My scores have improved since then and I'd like to go for a 3x cli, but it's best I wait til they see the update of my score.

How often do they do a SP?

AMEX will soft pull your Experian score each month. It seems to be random and not on the same day. You should see a new score somewhere around the 3rd week of July.

Amex normally does a fresh SP of Experian within 3 days of each card statement date. If you have multiple Amex cards, you will get multiple scores each month. I have 3 so I get new scores 3 times each month.

Once your SP has been updated, it’s generaly advised to wait around 2 weeks before applying for CLI/new accounts if you wanted the most recent SP used as there seems to be a lag from the last pull until it’s used in credit decisions

Both cards are showing the old score.
I didn't realize that the new score wasn't used right away. Thank you for that heads up. I'll be waiting a few weeks before making the request.

It seems Amex pulls my every Saturday and refreshed on Tuesday. I use their free Fico score.

The only score I can find in my AMEX account is a TU Vantage 3.0.

Is this what they use to determine CLIs? I thought they SP EX for that???

Evidently Amex is now providing a TU VS 3.0 score in addition to your EX FICO 8. Some have said they've had to dig a bit on their account to find the FICO score link, as it isn't always in your face on the main account page any longer. This seems to be a YMMV type of thing, as for some like myself everything looks exactly the same as always.

You have to go to the Account Services tab and then select the view FICO score link...

If you use the phone app you will only get what they use experian, updates once a month for all three (in my case Hilton Marriott amex plat) accounts. Hope this helps
