Discover Pre-Qualify Soft Pull

So I was checking out the Discover Pre-qual site and it pre-qualified me for a couple of different versions of the IT cards. I was then logged into Experian and saw a soft pull from Discover. Does this mean they will pull EX if I apply or could they pull something else? I've noticed quite a few people say its TU and I don't want to app if it pulls from there. I wanted to check the credit pulls database, but it looks like they are doing an upgrade so its down at the moment.

They pulled EX for me last month. I'm in FL.

If you do pre-qual tool typically a Experian HP... If you do blind app more chance of an EQ pull.. Some people get away with no pulls... If used pre-qual tool expect Experian pull though as that is what the tool uses

I was able to pick up Discover on a EX SP.

They SP EQ for me, with a preapproved mail offer.

I got my It Miles through the pre-approval page and I got a HP on my EX, I'm in California.
