Chase Disney Minimum Payment (above credit limit)?

The Disney trip me and the wife just went on was a blast, but emergency car repairs at the tail end of it led to the card being 600 above the limit...so now it's at 2900 against a 2300 limit.

For chase, is the minimum payment still 1% of the balance and interest accrued only, or would they include the amount over the limit as well?

AFAIK you have to pay the entire amount that is above the limit before the due date, you cannot float that at all. Other than that, the usual minimum payment will apply as well.

Anything over the revolving credit limits on Visa signature/infinite cards has to be paid at the end of the statement when the minimum payment is due.

This is why it’s considered a flexible spending card. You can spend over the CL but it must be paid in full in order to bring the balance to the credit limit. It would be highly advisable to make a payment as large as you can so the card is not completely maxed out

thought chase was 2%.... anyways over limit mst be paid and the min payment as well at least

Food for thought, one should always take an extra "emergency card" with them for such instances. ^
