Lowe's credit card

I finally gave up on Lowe's and Synchrony in general. After having this card for 2 years they have not increased my credit line. $300 can't sustain a home improvement store. So I applied for a Home Depot card. Instant approval for $3000. I closed Lowe's. By Felicia.

Out of curiosity, did you ever call the overseas Credit Solutions line? I had success going from 17k-25k and 25k-35k on my Lowe's card through the website, but the initial SL-$17k on Lowe's and $4k-$12k on my Amazon card came from calling CS. I had the reverse problem with HD; started at $1250, took tons of HPs over about 6 years trying to increase it and nothing.

While it's after the fact now that the card is closed, I too hope @Anonymous called Credit Solutions first. When I was initially approved for the Lowes card, I was given the ole $300 useless SL. Called when the card arrived and immediately bumped to $25K and a week later called again and it was raised to $35K

I have tried the overseas customer service before. No go. I have a couple of other Synchrony cards that remain with no increase after 2 years. Something about my file that will issue me a card but give no CLI later. I'm closing all of my Synchrony cards at this point. I really don't need them anymore.

if im right closing card doesnt help to credit.

i asked Lowes for a CLI, having my balance at $0, approved from 1k to 4k

oppened last october 2017, instant 1k.

I’m with you on Synchrony. But instead they closed my Lowe’s card due to “inactivity” BS cause I had just used it a few weeks prior. Whatever tho. Good riddens

I got the Lowe's card back in February or so. It had an odd $2037 SL. After a couple months I tried the LUV button and no joy. I turned around and called CS and tried to explain why I was asking for the increase but he simply referenced the recent failed request and, in turn, declined the increase as well. Since then no love on that card. I'm not certain but I think the Sync CLI gravy train is slowing up.

I haven't been able to get a CLI on my Amazon card since March though I did get a $1K CLI on my Walmart card last month. I only got my PayPal Mastercard a couple of weeks ago, so it'll likely be a few months before I'm ready to start asking for CLI's (the luv button isn't available for me yet for that card anyway).

The PayPal card was the fastest to grow for me. Both that and Amazon were at 5K then after hittng the LUV button the PP was increased to 8 but the Amazon was denied at the time. They just seem to refuse to increase the Lowes card for whatever reason.
