      <title>Surge Mastercard and Continental Finance - what a piece of s - -t company</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I was recently approved for an unsecured Surge Mastercard.&amp;nbsp; Came in the mail today shortly before 4 pm.&amp;nbsp; I was very excited that I got it as quickly as I did.&amp;nbsp; Came inside, put some laundry in the dryer and sat down to activate the card.&amp;nbsp; Oh, but wait, it was after 4 pm by this time and the activation center was closed.&amp;nbsp; You have got to be kidding me!&amp;nbsp; Where are they, podunk?&amp;nbsp; So incredibly irritated.&amp;nbsp; Now I can't use the card until Monday.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Almost sorry I got it now.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

When I got my Synchrony PayPal MC on Monday, I went at once to activate it online only to discover, whoopsie, Synchrony hadn't provided a link to activate the card on my account page even though they'd sent me an email earlier that afternoon explaining where to find the link and how to do it. I had to go to online chat to get it done, which fortunately took only a few minutes and some simple verification.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

So why not squeeze customers for everything they can up front?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
