Some obscure CC's issued by Commerce Bank

Ran across this list tonight, and most of these cards Ive never heard of! I clicked on the ones that would let me just to read about them.

I actually had the Garfield card for about 5 years when I was going through a phase of getting oddball cards. Earlier this year Commerce closed it out of the blue. There’s one lady that handles account security and it turns out it was her decision to close it. I had to call over and over to finally speak with her, only to find out how unpleasant she was and refused to give any explanation other than the decision was final. Very screwy Bank to deal with....and this coming from a former Duck cardholder

I had banked with them for awhile, and they were my first CC day of BK DC. I opened a secured card with them, the day pacer logged my DC, $500, and they reported to all 3 CRA's. I closed it a year later when I had like 20 CC's and 100k in credit, LOL..

No longer offered a few members have it cause they are grandfathered in, but sadly it was discontinued.. I have like 20 garfield stuffed animals and all his books from when I was a child growing up.. Loved that comic

It looks like it will still let you apply. The rewards on this one actually aren't bad.

The only Commerce card I'm really interested in is their (apparently co-branded) Charity Charge, since they'll donate to the nonprofit from whom I adopted my pet rabbits last year. I'm getting conflicting information as to how friendly they are to people with bankruptcies on their record, but it appears they're fairly easygoing as far as scores go though rather inquiry-sensitive, so since I'm gardening the rest of this year anyway, I will probably revisit the question sometime in the late winter/early spring once I have some inquiries drop off completely or at least age to the 1-year mark...

They're definitely an odd bank in their own way, but I've had no issues with any of their CCs - knock on wood! So far, 3 CCs with them.

I think this similar list was circulated several years ago and I bookmarked it since I was looking at the Garfield with Rewards CC at one point. A variety of them are no longer offered and some you can only apply at a branch.

I like Commerce as well. I have two cards with them, but I find it interesting that they have some really unusual schools and associations represented. How my wife has yet to be contacted about the NASW card (she's been a member for more than 15 years) is surprising. Then again, she thinks she has enough credit.

I thought they limited you to two cards, but I guess I'm wrong.

Honestly, I don't know whether they have a limit on the number of CCs you can have with them or if if it's more exposure-based. I guess I'll find out whenever I decide to pull the trigger with another one 😁
