(IMO) This is one of the best cards. I love Amex

i love this card because of the estetics

its my favorite card

I don't even care about the rewards

i can't believe.. They gave me $15k

I'm not WORTHY, Yes I am.

I'm blessed and very thankful.

Last week I saw.. Apply for the new AMEX CASH MAGNATE BY 7/19/2018 and get blah blah blah right,!?

It's gone. The bonus is still there

but , The date is gone

it's like hundreds of thousands of people apped for this card in days.

I'm very smart, what am I missing

Amex dropped the date.

The date disappeared because the initial bonus of $300 ended on the 19th, now it’s $250

The “end date” got me to app a little earlier than I should, but they threw me 7k so I’m happy with that..
Not particularly chasing the 2nd half of the bonus so I would’ve waited a couple weeks for some things to report if I knew the initial $150 would still be there..
Love Amex though.. Only a soft pull and the card looks great...

please keep in mind... i was BLACKLISTED by amex for 8 years.. so that could be why my credit was pulled again.

somewhere in the forum.. a couple of other people with excellent credit, no baddies, no BK and already have Amex Accounts, have still had HARD PULLS DONE.

thats why i ask what cards and how long u have.

This started about a year and a half ago. Prior to that, they would do an HP if you were approved but an SP if denied. The spacing & line breaks make it difficult to follow your thoughts & read the post, likely for many of us.

I use breaks & spacing a lot, too much, it's a habit.. I know this so I try to keep it to a minimum for readers. The suggestion was made with all due respect, in fact, to help not insult.

Not aware of any set amount of time. If I had to guess, pretty quickly after you have established your account and they have time to do the next SP

I'm loving mine I got it last week I've only been with American Express since January when I got the every day card

Close to eight years after filing chapter 7 bankruptcy I can see the light at the end of the tunnel in American express which has been good to me in the short time that I've been with them.
I burned Chase and Bank of America when I filed so my options were and still are limited.
Are there other cards better sure absolutely but I'm not going to waste an HP to find out at the moment.
