I beg to differ, they do pull credit on a product change even if the CSR says they dont. I product changed a Propel 365 Amex to a Cash Wise Visa in February, was told no hp, they closed my account, pulled my Experian, and opened the CW. PCing with WF is not cool imo, it's basically like apping a new card, but sometimes inevitable. Mine was due to having an AF I didnt want to pay since I couldnt justify it.

Ok. So I know Wells Fargo definition of product change is dumb. They canceled my old Platinum card that started out as secured.m, and opened a NEW propel card complete with new account number and everything. But I was never using that card since it had no benifits/rewards except phone coverage. But still never used it even for that. Per CSR they do not pull credit for product changes just enter income and employment residence and system gives them a yay or nay on the product switch. When she was reading the terms of agreement, she also did mention the SUB of 30K for 3000 spend....... so here’s wishing it all works out. Once I receive the card I’ll try for a CLI. I have had this card 3 years. 2 of which were secured at 2K. Now sits at 3K.<BR />Had 1 30day late 2.5 years ago on the platinum. 1 baddie six years old. Their Experian fico 9 on the website is 692. My fico 8 is at 682 for the last 2 months. 87K in total credit with 1% Utilization.<BR /><BR /><BR />P.S.<BR />I know my AAoA is affected by the “new” account, but not for a long while.

Well. I guess we’ll see. They usually pull Experian which I have locked. If they pulled one of the other two I guess I’ll find out soon enough. I’ll keep all of you posted. If it does end up pulled, do I have a leg to stand on disputing the inquiry. Would they maybe use that pull for the CLI request?

Just got approved yesterday as well. But only a $6900 SL. When I get it in the mail I’ll try to call customer service to get that increased. That low of a limit just seems ridiculous compared to some of my other cards. Granted they are premium.

I've seen people with excellent credit profiles pulling in 4k .you cant compare ones limits based off what other lenders are giving. It helps but looking at your siggy, your high limit cards are basically Amex , which really is more based off ones income than credit . They are one of the very few lenders where&nbsp; you can start of at 3k&nbsp; and with 12 months can be at 18k as an example. Everything is relative I just wish&nbsp; terms like ridiculous weren't used&nbsp; when it seems so out of context with overall credit view. Congrats on a very nice approval though.</P>

That’s good to here. I really feel good about it not being a HP. I asked her many questions regarding the SUB and HP vs SP and she was very nice but seemed new. She kept on saying she can only answer what’s written on her script. She was responding to my questions like she was reading from a “script”. So I’m hoping thats an official script given to her as a pop up on her screen or official memo or something. If so, then SP has greater chances. Today is day #1 after I applied and NO alerts from MyFICO, CK, Experian app, credit sesame, or credit journey.

If you don't see any alerts or notifications in about a week then it's safe to assume it was SP. There can be a lag between getting alerts from some CMS providers.
