Goodbye Credit One!

Took way too long to pull the trigger on kicking Credit One to the curb, but everytime I have tried in the past, they have waived the annual fee to keep me. Called this morning and told them no more talking me out of it, and the deed is done.

I will say that they did exactly what I had hoped they would, which was to help me rebuild my credit. Partly because of them, I am in far better shape than I was a few years ago, and no longer have to worry about being approved for anything.

Good on you for dumping Credit One. Just remember to dodge their calls---the poor thing could be desperate.

They are strictly a rebuilder just like Ollo. Not a keeper for sure and yes you will get a ton of future offers from them. JUST SAY NO. lol

Yep, canceled mine yesterday. I suspect I'll see my $200 by Christmas if I'm lucky.

Congrats. I closed Capitol One Buy Power because I have had it for two years and they will not give me a CLI. $2500 is it
Credit One is next Two years and only at $2000. Not even enough to justify the $89 fee.

My Cap One Buy Power will probably be next since they wont give me past $500 after 2 years...

I just paid my last 118.00 to them today. and my luck they told me they have to verify my account by doing some small. deposits less than 1.00 same account ive been using for 5 months and it will take 1-5 business days. Said i cannot make payments online but can mail. already initiated a payment online. will will and see what happens the next 5 days. Hope by next week this credit one relationship is done
