According to this article sometime today Chase’s travel portal will be through Expedia. This anyone who use their UR points to book travel a lot nore options than what is currently available. Good news

The article says changes take place today for Freedom cards and will be phased in for other cards. Sure enough, I just went through a BOS-FCO booking and the screens are completely different between the two, depending on which card I select in the Ultimate Rewards screen.

I prefer the cleaner layout of the existing Chase portal (2nd one above from CSR). Unfortunately neither of them allow you to filter out Basic Economy tickets, or to select an airline alliance instead of individual airlines (one of my favorite things about Google Flights). If it gives me more options, I'm all for it, and at least the fare class still shows for both so I can make an informed decision about which flights to book to get the best value with RDMs, MQMs and MQDs earned.

Thanks for this info. Using the ur portal for the freedom you can certainly tell the difference. Traveling during labor day so was very surprised to see new hotels that weren't available using the csp portal. Kinda sucks though that their at a higher rate seeing as the freedom redemption is at a lower rate.
