Bank of America Prequal Site issues?

I received a pre-approval letter from BofA sometime in the last 2 weeks (was on vacation and had my mail held). Seems legit with a single APR and a code. I wanted to double-check for sanity's sake using BoFA's online pre-qual site but I can't get it to work. Has anyone been successful recently in checking pre-quals on their site?

Boa's prequal site is notoriously unreliable. If I put I'm interested in cash back, whaddya know, most likely shows me a cashback card. Take that site with a grain of salt.

Thanks 👍. I mostly just wanted to verify a mailer I received from them. I ended up tossing it because while it would be good for a BT, that's about it (The generic BankAmericard).

The one good thing I like about using a Boa card for bt is the ease of use. Just deposit in your checking and pay what you need . When you are ready to app you'll know

I had the same issue a couple of days ago. I kept refreshing it, until it showed me the info. It did have a solid APR. I didn't app for it though. Nice BT offer, 18 months 0% with no transfer fee.

Interestingly, just tried it again and it worked fine (also looks a bit different). No offers–which is probably for the best. I've opened more than my fair share of accounts in the last 6 months.

What made my experience even worse was I had an offer on my sign in page. Now, I've been told a million times I m at my max , meaning no cli no cards, they wont give me more than 10.7k. Of course seeing that on my offers then checking the prequsl page, I figured heck maybe my lucky day. Nope , a tease just to get me to waste another hp. And here they want me to open a checking account for $100, uhm not

I'll do one better: I live in Puerto Rico and when I was starting my rebuild about two years ago I tried to use the pre-cual site at BoA. But there's no option to pick PR in the "state" part of the app (I know, I know...not a state... ) so I always used to simply leave the page and forget it. A few days ago I recieved not one, but two mailers stating I was pre-cualified for their MC BankAmericard. Same 0%, 18 months BT offer with a 21.49% rate afterwards. Having a few prime cards and a few APRs under 20%, I just tossed the app. No thanks!
