Will I Get a AMEX Financial Review?

I have 4 AMEX cards. A Blue Cash Everyday card with a $12,000 limit, a Blue Cash Preferred with a $5,000 limit, the Everyday card with a $6,000 limit, and a Premier Rewards Gold Card with no limit. If I have my Blue Cash Preferred limit raised to $10,000 dollars will it trigger a financial review?

Welcome to the forums. No, violating your cardmember agreement or doing anything illegal not covered in it will get you a Financial Review.

If you are asking about triggering an optional request for a 4506-T statement, that depends on your history with American Express, income, credit history, assets, and other factors known to American Express.

Not once in 16 years. I have submitted a 4506-T to them, however.

I have neither had to do a 4506-T or been subject to a financial review. I was under the impression these are rare. Not true?

4506-T requests are optional to comply with. Some people see them around the $30k mark, others never do. If you don't submit it, you just don't get that credit line increase. You can wait and ask later, or ask immediately for a lower amount if you don't wish to comply.

Financial reviews are not optional if you want to keep your Amex account(s) open.

Unfortunately asking for a CLI on your BCP will not trigger FR but you can always call in and ask for one.

Up until now I've only had 1 Amex card (Platinum Delta) which current CL is at $40K. Never been asked to do a financial review or any request for financial documents. Just the other day I applied and got immediate approval for the Amex Platinum charge card and it was only a soft pull on my credit. As long as you have a decent and long history with them I think it'll be ok?

rumors say less than one percent of customers are ever FR'd

the tax form 4506T is rare as well, unless you request a large credit limit increase,
