Is my Amex RSVP mailer good ?

Hi
I am new to this forum...
I received an American Express offer in the mail today for the PRG card.
It offers 50,000 points welcome offer.
I am not currently an Amex customer.
If I apply, will I get approved for this card ?
My credit reports have not changed other than paying off 3 credit cards to 0%.

I have searched the forums, but can't really locate a definate for sure answer.
Any help would really be appreciated before I make my decision to apply or not.

Welcome to the forums, @Anonymous! Do you happen to know your Experian FICO 08 score? The bar isn't too high for Amex charge cards. It's hard to know whether the mailer is just marketing or a true prequalification. You may want to check this link to see if cards come up:

Even if cards don't come up there, it doesn't mean that you wouldn't be approved. But if they do, that's a good sign.

You should check the pre-approval on their website.

I do want to add: If you’re looking for an absolute guarantee on an approval, we can’t give that to you. Not even a pre-approval is an absolute guarantee.

I just tried my prequals, and received the Following offers.
* Blue cash everyday
* Everyday card
* Green charge card

Do you think I would be able to get the PRG card based on my prequals ?
I really dont see any use for the Green card.

Green, Gold/PRG, and Platinum all seem to have the same underwriting requirements. As @Anonymous said, no one can guarantee you approval, but it would be helpful if we knew your Experian FICO 08 score. You can get a free one via Discover at creditscorecard.com

I just checked my Experian score.
It is currently 691.
Also, the cards that I just paid down to 0% have not posted to my reports yet.
Whatcha think ?

With a 691, you'd have very good odds of being approved for a charge card assuming there's no recent negative information on your reports. If you waited until those paid cards reported, your odds would be even better. Completely your decision, of course, but if the card fits your spending and what you want from rewards I'd personally go for it.
