Capital One Reopen Request

I submitted a request to reopen my old Quicksliver card. Does anyone have any experience with this?

It's my understanding that if you voluntarily closed the account and more than 30 days have elapsed then typically the account would remain closed. Was the account closed by your request or due to AA? How long ago has it been closed?

I'm sure there's been some exceptions, but in all likelihood a HP might be required.

A myFico'er was successful in getting a recently closed account re-opened. It took about two weeks to get it back opened. Read about it here.

It’s very possible but it depends on the reason the account was closed in the first place, who initiated the closure, your account standing and how much time has elapsed since closing.

It has been way over 30 days probably closer to 6 months. So I will probably say this will be declined
