Does Amex send a email when card is sent out?

I’m familiar with capital one sending an e-mail when the card is in the post- does Amex do the same, or do they just send it out same day as approval? Recently got approved for everyday(1k) and cash magnet (2k)under one hard pull (same day)

I personally do not recall receiving an email from Amex indicating that my card was on its way. That was in 2016 though, so there's a chance they may have started sending one since then.

Yes, for my Platinum and ED I received emails when they were shipped. That was August 2018.

Yes, Amex does send an email when the card is shipped. I just went though my emails from last year for Amex from when i was approved for the Amex ED.

They sure do, and in my case that email came about 2 days after the card was supposed to arrive. Upon approval online it said, "expect your Cash Magnet card in 3-5 days", on the 6th day I got an email saying my card had been shipped and should arrive in 7-10 days. YMMV

I just got my new Amex Delta Platinum card a few weeks back & I got an email about it being shipped....so yes, they still notify you.

AMEX does send Emails notifying you when your card is on the way. Better yet, they will also expedite your card if you ask for it.

Last week I was approved for the AMEX Hilton Aspire card. When the CSR called to verify my identity and told me I was approved, she asked if I was happy receiving the card in 3-5 business days or whether I needed it sooner for travel. I told her I needed it as soon as possible so she offered to expedite it so that get it within 2-3 business days. Nice!

I just double-checked my mailbox and I don't recall ever receiving an email from Amex that a new or replacement card has been shipped out.

Actually, I did get one. One for my everyday and cash magnet at the same time.
