1. Is the Amex Cash Magnet Hard to get?

2. Im Already an Amex Member with the BCE, will that help?

3. What's your experience with the Cash Magnet?

4. Is it a Soft pull if i am already a member if I decide to app?

Updated Fico Scores are: Trans 709 Equifax 706, Exp 660

Your EX score needs to come up. I would also recommend not applying until at least your 6 month mark with Amex.

Hello, I just applied this morning and got $2K limit. My score was 712 at the time. I'm only about 35K a year, so I thought it was easy. This is my 4th card this year. Sorry I can't help with the other questions. But I hope it helped some.

If you are already a member you can see what cards you prequalify for on your online account, if it invites you to expand your membership you are not pre approved, if it says you are preapproved then you are good to go usually. It will be a SP. What is your limit on your BCE? You could always wait a little bit until you have had the card for awhile.

I never had a relationship with AmEx. Instantly approved for the Magnet card for $20k. I'm not a big spender on CCs so it will be interesting to see if they CLD me. My high limit cards were/are Synchrony and Comenity who were giving away credit like candy at Halloween.

Limit on the BCE is $1000, I had for like 9 months

I would think, assuming low to no balance on BCE, and over 700 on EX, you should be good to go!!

And have you hit them up for a CLI on BCE (1k to 3k)??

Not yet, I was going to do that probably in OCTOBER!! 3k sounds terrific

Well if you've had the card 9 months you are eligible to ask for a CLI. Ask for the max which is 3k.
