BOFA CLI minimum score?

Hello everyone,

Just curious if anyone know minimum score for CLI to my bankamericard. I wanted to pull the trigger since there is no longer HP. currently standing at 640 fico thru bofa account.

thanks in advance. never had an increase opened november of last year. my utilization above 80% not sure if it helps.

IMO, I would wait and get your utilization down before requesting a CLI. 80% is a high utilization and BoA would probably be a little skittish giving you a CLI at this point.

BoA isn't scared of high utilization when it's on their cards in my experience. DW and I have both had $10k-$20k CLIs with VERY high utilization over the past few years. However, in this case the utilization may be one of the main things holding down your score, and BoA is sensitive to FICO scores. I found that they relaxed at around 710 and opened the floodgates once we passed 740. It won't hurt to try, but I'd suggest doing what you can to get your scores at least into the upper 600s before giving it a go.

thanks for your knowledge. I might pull the trigger and see what happens. If i dont get anything ill try again in 91 days when my score is higher. I read its best to ask for a really high CLI so they counter me.

If you are going to ask, ask for 25k and see if they counter. With that said, as other posters have said, you probably need to get those scores up to expect anything from BOA.
