Golden 1 Credit union Rewards Card?

Great afternoon My Fico Fam

I am a Golden 1 Credit union member, I have been a member for 2+ years and just now realizing that they have a Credit card, its pretty cool also, with the 3% back on Gas, Grocery and Resturants. i know there are other cards out there that has these benefits. But me being a member already because I Live in California makes me want to go after it. seeing that the lowest starting limit is $2000, and the highest being $30,000. according to the Website any Limit above $10,000 requires Income Verification. anyways what do yall Think about this card? Its very little info on the Myfico forum about this card. Thanks

It's discussed from time to time. I think it was the first card I was rejected for, because at the time the geo restriction wasn't clear.

It was very attractive because of the 3% being uncapped on groceries, and the high-at-the-time 3% on restaurants. But now 3% there isn't so unusual, and Uber offers 4%. So IMO by no means now a "must have" but if you are a member anyway, might be worth getting.

Im definitely thinking about it. The Cap 1 Savor 1 was my next card on my Card Wish List. But i might go after this card because of the 3% on 3 catagories all year around. I do all 3 plenty times a month so i would definitely be maximizing the 3% acrosd all 3 catagories

I was instantly approved for $10k maybe 2 years ago... then it goes to hold or something and someone called me I think the next day to verify I applied and then let it go through without anything else because it was just the $10k. I applied for line of credit at same time and that was instantly approved by the system but then after the phone call, they canceled it and said I couldn't have both.

I have not had any issues since, no increase and have never asked.

Do they have an app to pay the Credit card payments? Or do you have to only use the desktop?

Thats awesome!! I already have that app for my golden 1 checking and savings😀. I was hoping that app would work for the CC. So Excited I will still wait til Jan 2019 before i app for another CC. Patience is a discipline

Keep in mind the restaurant category excludes fast food establishments.
