Amex PRG Just Got Better! $250 AF

$120 Dining Credit: You get $10 monthly dining credit available at Grubhub, Seamless, The Cheesecake Factory, Ruth’s Chris Steak House, Shake Shack. You have to enroll like the travel credit and use your card to pay.

New: 4x MR points at US Restaurants
New: 4x MR points at US Supermarket, up to $25k a year

New: $250 Annual fee, not waived 1st year

Same: 3x MR points on Airlines

Same: $100 Airline Fee Credit
No more 2x on gas station

This revamp makes it a keeper card for me now after the first year.

Well I found the dining credit. You have to click "Benefits" at the top and then click "Benefit terms" in the top right-hand corner:

New! $120 Dining Credit

To receive this benefit, Card Members must enroll. Only the Basic Card Member or Authorized Account Manager(s) on a U.S. Consumer Gold Card Account can enroll in the benefit. Traditional Gold, Senior Gold, Classic Gold and Ameriprise Gold Cards are not eligible. Eligible purchases must be charged to a Card Member on the enrolled Card Account for the benefit to apply. Purchases by both the Basic Card Member and Additional Card Members on the eligible Card Account are eligible for statement credits. However, each Card Account is eligible for up to a $10 statement credit per month, for a total of $120 per calendar year in statement credits across all Cards on the Account. Participating partners are Grubhub, Seamless, The Cheesecake Factory, Ruth’s Chris Steak House and participating Shake Shack locations. Excludes Shake Shack locations in ballparks, stadiums, airports and racetracks. Not valid on gift cards or merchandise purchases. Only valid for transactions completed in the United States of America, and US Territories. Please allow 2-4 weeks after an eligible purchase is charged to your Card Account for statement credit(s) to be posted to the Account. If you get 10 dollars off a specific group of chain restaurants once a month I don't consider that a benefit. I just consider the restaurants marketing to me.

I don't see this benefit for 4x restaurants and groceries anywhere or this 10 dollars off thing either.

Good find....I go to Shake Shack here and there....so this will serve me well.

If the rewards structure the OP posted about is real, then it hasn't gone into effect yet since AMEX's website does not reflect this change and when you login and explore your card's rewards structure, the old one is still in place. The only change I have seen, as of now, is the dining credit.

I really hope this new structure is legit, because the PRG is about to quickly make my CSP take some time off

Just spoke with a CSR about something else but asked several questions. I asked about metal cards. He confirmed that they are coming by the end of the year. Asked about changes to PRG MR structure and he said that it hasn't been completely rolled out yet but he sounded really excited and said that there were "huge changes coming"

Under benefits.

The screen shot from flyer talk show a tile. Similar to the other tiles for airline credit, roadside etc. This change hasn’t been updated on my account yet. They are probably rolling the changes out.

But what I can currently see is if you go to the card benefits tab which shows all the different tiles. If you click on the card and benefits terms in the right hand corner. It brings up a pop up with a bunch of fine print. The $120 dining credit is the first thing mentioned.

I'd take 4x MRs on dining over 3x URs.

Not by much, though...and I had PRG from 2014-2016, so no bonus. No 4x at places at didn't take Amex or that didn't code as restaurants (some delivery services). No 3x "food as travel" Uber Eats quirk like on CSR.

Note that GrubHub and Seamless are two websites run by the same company. As far as I can tell, they have exactly the same participating restaurants with exactly the same prices and fees.
