Balance transfer to BOFA from chase

Guys , I initiated a balance transfer to my Chase slate account to take advantage of their 0% apr. The amount was debited from the chase account as soon as I submitted the BT. Today it shows in my chase account that the BT is complete , but it is not reflected in the Bofa account. Is this normal? paranoid I submitted a wrong card number during the transfer.

VERY normal. Breathe!

Transfers between the big banks are almost always done electronically (there will be the odd lender where a check has to be mailed). With Chase, I've found that I usually see the transferred account credited within a week.

Thanks for the quick response . Its been a week I started the BT . Will keep checking for another week.

No problem at all, and welcome to the forums! Usually I find that balance transfers always post the day after I stop logging in every few hours to check to see if they've posted.
