      <title>Gold Delta AMEX - Card Always Expedited?</title>

      <description>I was approved for the Delta AMEX Gold last Wednesday morning, and have read online that those cards are always sent via expedited shipping (saw on Nerd Wallet and some posters on here). Is that always the case? The email that I received said it was shipped and would take 7 - 10 business days, but wondering if that is their standard "card has shipped" email and I can really expect it today or if it'll arrive later in the week. Any recent approvals have any data on how long it took you to receive your Gold Delta AMEX?</description>

      <description>IIRC, it's not automatic, at least not to my knowledge.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The few times that I've seen this to occur is if you're doing a phone application, and if approved, the option to expedite would be available. Likewise, if prompted to call for verification if an application goes in pending. Or, if approved online, by contacting them right away, but YEMV.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;From what you stated above, it sounds like your card was shipped via the standard USPS method.</description>

      <description>Don’t pay attention to the timeline in the email. It’s just a generic email. Sometimes it has a tracking number in the email though.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If you login and go to replace card under account services. You should be able to see how the card was shipped and any tracking numbers available.</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Amex is all over the board when it comes to expediting.&amp;nbsp; The Delta Reserve cards that DW and I both got this month were both expedited, but&amp;nbsp;we've had cards even with hefty annual fees sent regular mail.&amp;nbsp; I always suggest signing up for delivery notifications like USPS Informed Delivery, UPS My Choice, and FedEx Delivery Manager.&amp;nbsp; If it's expedited, you'll get an alert from UPS that you have a package coming from&amp;nbsp;&lt;STRONG&gt;FDR - ECR -AUTOMATED&lt;/STRONG&gt; and if you get it USPS, it'll be a plain white envelope from Omaha, NE.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

My&amp;nbsp; congrats email said 3-5, but when I log into application status, I see 7-10. I live in California and just checked informed delivery and it isn't being delivered today.
