Has anyone recieved a CLI from Chevron lately? I just called and was told its always a Hard Pull if a a customer request,Is this true?

I got my last CLI about 10 months ago, but I never asked for it. I kept going over the limit and they kept increasing till it got to $1500. I paid it way down after I realized it was 31.99%

Well mine hit 1 yr april 10th and still no cli for me.Maybe i should charge over my limit to see what happens to me...

Luv button, I got one after having the card for 6 months. Only $200 but its all about baby steps. Speaking of which, Im going to try it again now.

I received CLI from $500 to $700 after having the card for 8 months. I requested the CLI and no hard pull

I requested by phone. I asked CSR prior to request if hard pull, and she said "no". Definitely confrirm with CSR prior to requesting CLI

Yes its a soft pull. I hit it like I said I was going to, and got another $200. I just try it every 3 months. I could care less if they close it.

I just hit the luv button today on my chevron card. I got $200 increase so I'm at $850. I'm at the four month mark now. I use the card for small gas purchases and always PIF. I have 4 GE money cards and every time I've asked for an increase its been a soft pull and they say every 4 months is required.

Well ive tried both carrying a balance and PIF.Still no LUV for me..

Have you tried the luv button yet? I have hit the button a few times on my 3 GE Money accounts (Bass Pro has no love button). I got $200 on Old Navy, $200 on Chevron, and $175 on WalMart. They were all at the 4 month mark. They have never been a hard pull either. I think you should try the button, even if denied I am almost sure it won't be a hard pull.

eta: I don't know why GE seems to like me. I got all four cards with really crappy scores (barely 600). They are not very high limits but at least they approved me.
