I know you have Chase cards, and I dont think Chase offers permanent apr reductions

For your Disco, you have to be out of 0% promo. You can call or chat them and see if they have any special offers. Often they will give you a choice between permanent apr reduction (once every six months) or another 0% promo.
Hope that helps

While I'm in the garden for at least a year, I've decided to do some.... gardening. Slowly but surely I've been successfully getting CLIs on most of my cards. No declines to date. The vast majority of my cards are still in 0% territory, but, I thought I might as well do myself some good in the event of a future emergency by attempting to get some or all of the APRs reduced. Since I've never done this before, I was wondering if there is advice out there on how I go about it.

Should I make the request to a CSR over the phone, or is there a better way? Do such requests generate an HP? Is there an optimum length of time I should have the card before I make the APR reduction request? Your help is sought and appreciated.

EXP = 742
EX = 765
TU = 742

Aaoa = 1 year, 4 months.
No derogs
Call and see if there are any offers for apr reduction on your account. You can also chat. If you dont ask, you never know

I don't think it matters whether you call or chat. If there is an offer on your account you will get it regardless, and if there isn't you won't.

Someone mentioned you have Chase cards. If so, not to be negative, but there's no point in even asking really, as they do not do permanent APR reductions. Be prepared for a no if you decide to ask. Discover is more flexible, but you do have to be out of the promo 0% period.
