FYI - Bad redemption but MR 1.20x on Amazon technically

Hilton is running .5 points redemption on Amazon right now and Amex is running a 20% bonus or more on Hilton transfer. Therefore, this is how you can get 1.20x MR point for Amazon.

I know some look for redemptions other than travel so here you go.

So 1000 MR points is worth 1200 Hilton points after the transfer, then they're worth 0.5 cents a piece so effectively you're getting $6 for 1000 MR points? Maybe I'm missing something but the 0.5 cpp stacked with 20% bonus sounds like you're redeeming MR points for 0.6 cpp at Amazon - same as cashing out with Amex?

I could be missing something but if it really does come to 1.2 cpp that's actually a rather solid redemption, almost the same as the Schwab Platinum cash out rate only without needing that specific card or a Schwab account etc
