Oh wow! Thats 6.5% cash back...Not too bad!! Thanks for posting this!! I also have the CR card, so I'll see if I get anything. If so, Ill throw my rent on it

Gives an example of $5000 spend will earn $325.

The usual as far as what spend is allowed.

1. Only individual purchases made with your Navy Federal cashRewards credit card between 11/1/18 and 12/31/18 that meet the minimum spend requirement of $500 will be eligible for the 5% cash back bonus. Purchases cannot be combined to reach the minimum. However, multiple individual purchases within a single transaction that meet the spending minimum will qualify. Rewards are based on net purchases. “Net purchases” means the sum of your eligible purchase transactions minus returns and refunds. Eligible purchase transactions do not include, and rewards are not earned for, the following transactions: cash advances, convenience checks, balance transfers, or fees of any kind, including finance charges, late fees, returned check fees, ATM cash advance fees, and annual fees, if any. Interesting that they don't say "aren't" eligible! But I guess they maintain the right to deny it in case they detect this. And the $500 threshold is a very convenient number!

Got the email and came to check if anyone else did. No 5% cash back for me, though. Bummer. I likely won't be using this. I have no plans on big spend. Last year's promo was much more my style.

Super happy for you but super jealous I got nothing for Christmas from NFCU. My s/o a.u. just made a $2k purchase yesterday and 6.5% sure would have beat the 2% on the penfed. I wonder if I was not targeted bc we have made 2-3k purchases. The only email I've gotten from nfcu this month was them telling me to cash out my $71 in rewards...

makes me wonder if they will be sending out the special 0%/12mo BT offers then in Jan/Feb like in the past.

Even PenFed treats me better than Navy. Last month PenFed sent me an offer on my Promise card (which I rarely use) for 5% cashback on $500 spend.

Nothing here, last year I received several 0% offers from Navy Federal. I took them up on at least two of them! lol
It would be great to get them in January or February. I'd take advantage of them for sure!
