For the credit card, it could have been Equifax or Tu. But I don’t remember. It was more than two years ago and has fallen off my reports. However, last year it was Equifax for a CLI. .

It's up to you. The platinum doesn't really offer any rewards. The Flagship has solid rewards, but an AF of $49.

Again, it really depends on your spend. What do you spend most on monthly? Are you trying to earn points or cashback? Knowing the answers to these questions will help us give you card recommendations.

Also, congrats on the CLI. If you pay your utilization down to below 28%, you should see another increase in your score as well. If you can do that before applying, you should see more cards open up as options.

For example, if you spend more on groceries, you would look for a card that includes groceries as a bonus category. Alternatively, most premium cards are travel cards, so if you travel a lot, you could benefit from that as well.

A high CL doesn't really do much for your credit score unless you plan on carrying a balance, which usually isn't a good idea unless it's on a low interest rate.

That being said, your SL depends on your credit score and other involved factors. No one company is guaranteed to give you a higher limit than others, though some are slightly more generous. Amex has a 3x CLI tool that can be used every several months, and if that's your goal, they can be a good bank to go with.
