Hi guys & gals,
I’m new to the forum and would like to know if my score should be a certain range before going in the garden. Tu 698, Ex 690, Eq 691.
My goal is to hit 710. Any suggestions ?

You can garden with any scores but the more time you spend away from apping, the better chance your scores can grow as it allows your current accounts to age

Just to be clear, you should have open accounts that your keeping paid up for gardening to be of any value. *

* You could technically Garden with no open accounts while waiting for bad things to fall off your report, but it would be better to have accounts aging in your favor.

Great advice ! Thank you all.
For the last 6 months or so , I’ve been purposely using them but pay them off at the end of the month . I have a total of 11 open accounts, and my CU is at 4% right now.

Hey!

You can garden with any CS but you gotta use your credit cards to see some improvement. Make sure you don’t have/get any late payments, keep your utilization ratio low and go for it!

Yeah, I definitely do.
I would love to get to 750... I’m just giving my self smaller goals as steps so I can feel it moving and keep me excited. If I don’t have in-between goal, it may make me feel like it’s harder to obtain or it’s taking forever , and I won’t feel as optimistic.
