How long does it take Capital One to report?

I opened a new Capital One card almost two months ago. First statement was cut on the 8th of this month. Nothing has shown up on my CR yet. How long does it normally take them to put the new account on your reports? I figured it would go on shortly after the first statement at the latest. I opened a USAA card at the same time and it was reported three days after I opened it.

USAA is one of the few exceptions to the norm, most lenders will report after first statement, my QS was reported after first statement, but some have reported after the second statement, my guess is yours will report after the 2nd.

May I ask if you've put any charges on your new card? My QS (now closed) didn't report until the statement after my first charge...

I was wondering this question, too. Mine has generated 2 statments and still hasnt reported. My statement date is the 11th. I hope we can find some answers!

Mine took two statements plus 5 or 6 days, so it should be any day now

My capital one reported to experian yesterday. But its not on my credit karma account yet. It just updated yesterday, so ill give it til next week to include my new account.

It's actually not a bad deal. Further they report from the opening, less it stings as you will regain some points when your new card is three months old. In your case, that will be a month after it reports

I purposefully open new accounts around 29th or 30th, that way the card is a month old after 2-3 days

If you think about it, waiting until the second statement to report makes sense. If the report at the first statement, it would be like the CC company was just reporting "yep, this person owes us money". Waiting until the second statement, it allows them to say "yep, this person owes us money, but so far has been reliable paying it back."

The latter seems like far more useful info on a redit report.

BTW, my Cap One was about a week or so after the second statement like some of the other posters.
