Citi AA Platinum Card - receiving time frame ?

My wife got approved for the card on the 7th .....
no card yet ... has this happen to anyone before ?

7-10 business days. Plus it may take a bit longer due to the Veterans Day holiday.

As I'm sure have perused prior Citi threads, it's a hit or miss with delivery. Some take no time while others take longer.

If it's not received by the end of the week, contact them.

Not counting Sunday and Veterans day, going from the Approval notice letter of 11/8/2018 tomorrow will make it exactly 10 days. Or do i count Sundays ?

Best thing you can do is call Citi and ask if the card has been mailed and when. From that date, it's up to the post office, but I don't think they take more than 5-7 days to deliver.

If it helps, when I got approved for the Citi AA MileUp, it took me 14 days to receive the card. Citi is known for being slow when shipping cards out, it should be arriving soon!

Citi is very slow with mailing cards generally. Just how they work. You can call, but they usually don't have specifics other than the date it was mailed. Beyond that, as stated, it's up to the post office.

With the two mail holidays (Veteran's Day and Thanksgiving) I would give it until the end of the week and if still nothing call.

I got approved after you but got my card before you. This is my 3rd Citi AA card but my first took a really long time. If it hasn't been 10 business days since you applied they will tell you to wait. If 10 business days have passed since approval call them up.

Citi is slow in my opinion and their cards are mailed from a PO Box that's within 50 miles of my home. Expect 2 weeks from approval and be shocked if it comes sooner. Nonetheless, enjoy racking up those AAdvantage Miles when it arrives.

Although I am a bit late on this thread...

Two weeks is pretty standard for Citi to mail cards for new accounts. Back when I was approved for the ThankYou premier I waited over a week and still no card, then I called them and asked if they shipped the card, and told them I still haven't received it. They actually were surprised it took this long, and sent a new card with expedited shipping.
