Chase website/generic cards displayed

This morning I logged into to the Chase site. I have two cards, CSR and Freedom U. The picture of the Freedom U was replaced with some generic Chase Card. Has this happened to anyone else?

I noticed this too when I logged in. I thought we were getting newly designed cards, haha. I honestly like them more.

You think maybe it has to do with them rolling out the contactless versions of the cards? Maybe they redid the design for CFU a bit? CFU is supposed to be available contactless soon while CSR isn't until next year, which may explain why only CFU is showing the default card image?

Unlikely. The same photo appears for the regular Freedom too.

Freedom is supposed to be becoming contactless within the same timeline as CFU. I'm saying that maybe the default image showing is a placeholder for cards that are getting a redesign?

They've had that interim instance since the last site refresh so it's doubtful it has to do with the contactless version.

For instance, the Ritz Carlton card in my profile experienced the same thing and guess what, it's not migrating to contactless. Same thing with IHG, although that's a WEMC.

That's a bummer. I was hoping they'd do a sweeping redesign of their older cards with the numbers on the backside.

Yes same thing here. My United card doesn't show a photo but my Amazon Prime shows the correct picture.

It's glitched for my Freedom card, but the others are normal.

Dear Chase, that placeholder card actually looks pretty great. I'll take one, please!

I never noticed this before until I saw another thread on it. I still have yet to actually see it just on the fly from logging into my account. I guess maybe I hadn't given it much thought or attention.

DId you have any problems using your cards? Both my freedom and freedom unlimited were like that this morning and when I was trying to pay my phone bill this morning it was declined. Now when I log into my account online none of my cards are showing up. Unfortunatley I think I just got shut down today. Why idk I didnt do anything out of the ordinary. But chase can sometimes be an odd creatue to deal with so if they shut them down I'm not gonna lose sleep about it.

OP, that image has been on my profile for at least over a month from what I recall. Again, it doesn't quite explain why Ritz and IHG display the anomaly since those cards are not targeted to be contactless.

The image I had on my mobile app prior to the change was the version with the 'freedom unlimited' text in the middle, as in my signature. My physical card also has the text in the middle. This is new to me.

Youre right, the old version had the "Freedom Unlimited" in the center.

I saw the new version in a branch maybe a month ago.

Still have the old, but personally if I'm just talking style I like the new design far better but I'm basically a minimalist and the old FU is a busy looking card. Course I've beaten the hell out of it too which probably doesn't help haha.
