Just to add more info & data points:

The SP language did not materialize on my page until my account was about 9 months old.

Many report 1+ year. (It might not show if your account is young)

For my CC, and maybe all of the Citi Cards if you receive a CL increase you can not get another for 6 months.

For many the SP language is always visible, giving you false hope.

For Citi you need to keep records of when your last CL was received.

Don't bother hitting the love button every other month.

Thank you all for sharing. I confirmed in the Citi iOS mobile app that it will be a SP for me.

Not clicking the love button until the accounts I PIF are reflected on my 3B. ETA on that is next week.

As with most things related to credit, YEMV.

I opened a Citi Double Cash card on 4/30/18 and first noticed the soft pull CLI language on 7/3/18. Its possible that it had been there for a few days and I hadn't noticed, but just over 2 months after opening the account I was able to get a soft pull CLI. Several others have reported getting their first soft pull CLI at 3 months. In any event, its strictly 6 months after the first CLI for any subsequent increases.

@_NERD wrote:
While doing searches on the forum looking for info related to Citi SP CLI, I see “SP verbiage” mentioned many times. Where do I find that in my Citi acct?

Thanks!

Edit: account is over 2 yrs old & never had a CLI.

Good info on the CLI requests... I'll just add that if you're asking about your Diamond Preferred and you're out of the 0% BT promo you might consider getting Citi to PC it to a different card.

I had my own Diamond Preferred PC'ed to a Double Cash a few months back... it was a painless phonecall, and the card number even stayed the same.

If a Double Cash isn't for you, you can usually PC to other products as well; even cards that are no longer offered like the Dividend.

Citi is also unique among issuers in that you can sometimes PC to a "core" co-brand card like one of the airline cards or the Costco Visa. (Just beware that if you PC to Costco, you will be 'stuck' there... they don't allow PC's away from Costco at this time.) Also, you can't PC to any of the Citi "retail" cards like Sears or BestBuy (strangely, Costco is considered a "core" card, not retail).

Edited to add: Just found your other thread where you have received an offer to PC to a Double Cash: https://ficoforums.myfico.com/t5/Credit-Cards/Citi-offer-to-upgrade-DP-to-DC-legit-SP-or-HP/m-p/5425088

But considering they won't give me a CLI, SP or HP, I'm probably capped for a while and won't be able to do much with this card. Ugh. Even Discover has been more generous to me.
