What are the Approval chances for Sapphire Reserve,

Hi Friends

I would like to know, Will I be approved of Chase Sapphire Reserve, with the credit history as below:

1. Never associated with Chase.

2. Has BofA Credit Card (CL $ 75000) which was opened way back in 1992.

3. Has Barclays credit card ( CL $ 65000) which was opened in 2006.

4. Citi Secured (1000) approved in 2018.

5. No Negatives, 100% payment.

6. FICO scores of all the bureaus are above 820+.

Are you AU on those cards or are they in your name?

That secured card from 2018 is throwing me off completely

I don't know the answer but I'm perplexed by your cards. $75K limit on one card, $65K on another, scores over 800 and you got a secured card this year? What on earth for?

I used to have a Citi credit card and made my friend as the authorized user and irresponsibly used. So canceled the account, Cleared all the issues and again re-establishing a good relationship with Citi.

I would think Chase would be falling over themselves to open your account as long as your income is $35k+ and you have less than 5 new cards in the last two years. They don't like to give a credit limit more than 40% of your income. The CSR has a $10k minimum limit, so you're usually good with mid $30k income.

Absolutely, if those cards are yours (and nothing is left out that has been opened in the past 2 years) and not authorized user cards, the Chase world is your oyster.
