Elements financial provides an EQ 8 score and says that’s what it uses to “manage your account”. The score says it’s a EQ FICO 5 but it’s always the same as my 8 which is always much higher than my 5.

HSBC pulls Equifax only.

They have 0% for 18 month on balance transfer and purchases but I don't think the balance transfer will be free.

HSBC is another international bank like Barclays..... lots of people complain about their fraud verification process and other nonsense from them.

I app’d for a Disco It CB last Sunday and they pulled EX, with a TU SP.

They use to but recently last year or so has moved to experian more so.. especially if you use the pre-qual as that is a SP against experian

I noticed the same thing-- Discover pre-qualification now seems to use Experian.

Does it mean that Discover's regular application process is now also more likely to pull Experian?

Otherwise, the other issuers that typically pull Equifax:

SunTrust
BB&T

I know for a fact DCU pulls Equifax. But they hate anything negative, so don't go for them if you have any recent derogatory accounts.
