Cap1 Secured, didn't graduate... now what?

After reading many posts of other people's experiences with Cap1 Platinum Secured card graduating after the 11th statement I was hopeful that my card would graduate last month after my 11th statement. No luck.

Some information on my situation I put down my $150 down payment on this card January of 2018 with my Vantage Transunion score at 534 (I hadn't started looking at my FICO scores until 8/2018.) I received my card with a $250 limit and my first statement in February. Used it responsibly and paid it in full every month. My reported utilization was anywhere between 5 - 30%. After my 5th statement my credit line increased to $550. At my 11th statement my Vantage Transunion score was 687.

I am coming up on my 12th statement and my credit score recently jumped up another 21 points to 708. I have worked really hard to rebuild and get my scores mortgage ready, I am just a little discouraged that this particular card is not graduating.

Any information on why or what more I can do?

wait a bit longer mine graduated after the 12th statement my wifes graduated after the 11th statement

I would hazard a guess the card will graduate when the 12th statement closes.

I am in the exact same boat. I got a secured Capital One in December 2017 with a score in the high 500's. My 12th statement recently closed and the card still hasn't graduated. My scores are in the mid 700's now. I called Capital One and they had no interest in helping me. They told me it is an automated process and gave some speech about building credit. I would love to just close it and get my deposit back, but it's my oldest account.

Update as of 1/21... a week after my 12th statement posted... still nothing. How frustrating. Anyone have an idea of why my particular account would be delayed?
