I read that doiing a CLI request on Carecredit no longer does a HP. Is that true?

No HP for me either $10,000 to $12,000. I did have to remove the freeze from my TU report thought.

I’ve had my CareCredit card for over 2 years now and I’ve never had any HP when requesting CLI.

I always do it through the automated system though... not sure if that makes a difference between that and a live agent.

Is there a CareCredit strategy to CLIs? And do they counter?

I opened in Jun., and I requested cli in Nov. two times ( same day) I went from 1.5k to 3.5k., I knew that I left money on table.. I asked for 10k and received 7k. Also my amazon went from 400 to 3.5k.

I have requested multiple cli last year on my husbands care credit card. Never any hard pulls . It's at 15,000 cl right now .

CareCredit often times gives you more than you request so i guess thats not countering but....CareGIVING😀

Lol @Anonymous, with your score, income and low Sync exposure, you'd get it. On a serious note, save some of that luv for if you want another Sync card you can get more limit. Sync exposure maxes out around 100k across all cards though some people may have more.

I have requested the CLI for like 10 times over the last 3 months lol. No love. And definitely no HP.

Comenity is so much more generous to me than Synchrony.

Whenever the POI is requested it appears something doesn't add up with your income or the information that you have provided to them in the past. There's usually an income/update prompt that displays periodically.

Ordinarily, they wouldn't ask unless there's a discrepancy, depending on what type of CLI you submitted.

They told me anything over 25k by the user required to ask for pay stubs.

Yes , there is a certain threshold for different cards that require POI. Remember, that is not the same as a blue envelope or the 4506 request. On Lowes i believe its after 35k.
