When exactly does the BOA promotional rate end?

I have a balance that was transfered to my BOA card at 0%. My statement says the promo rate ends on 3/17/2019. Does that mean as long as I pay it off (probably via another BT) before 3/17 I'll pay no interest, or do I need to pay it before the beginning of the 3/17 statement period, which would be 2/17?

If a balance remains on 3/17, then from that day forward you would start to be charged interest on the amount outstanding at that date.

With these credit card offers, in most cases it is a zero percent promo rate, and starts from zero after expiration.

With some store card or “deferred interest” charges, in those cases you need to pay every last dime by the expiration date, or else all the deferred interest reappears out of the swamp.

Thanks, I had considered that and based on my experience over the years with call center employees (especially those offshore), I thought trying to find a real-world experience might be better.
