BBVA Compass card

As most know I was recently approved for their clear points card. Yesterday I got 2 letters in the mail, the first was welcome letter explained how to set my access online and in phone app and encouraged to activate card etc. Second letter gave me my score, however I don't have the card yet lol.

Just curious if this is normal for them?

I got my card before my cost of credit letter IIRC.

Probably will show in the next few days.

I re-read your post and I am about 99% sure that I got the “activate and sign up your online account” letter with the card so it might be worth a call but I would wait until it’s been 14 business days since they shipped it because they might just tell you to wait anyway.

I would take this card if available to me. I am not in their geo area. I keep checking my mailbox for the invites a lot on here are getting, but so far "no soup for me."

Thanks, yes the way the letter was worded, it appeared to me that the card should have been enclosed with it.

Yes, this is normal. A variety of lenders send the initial TILA or T&C correspondence associated with the CC separately from the plastic.

They never messed my NBA AmEx and countless others were perfectly fine. On the upside, it's not like it's offered anymore and the other array of CCs seem to work for many on the boards ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I received all the information mail before the card showed up. So yeah it's normal.

I received the card a couple of days after the welcome and T&C mail when I was approved for this card. If it's been more than 14 days though I would give them a call.

Inspirus, much as I'm loving them now sent me like 5 letters/packets before I ever received the card.

Drown them in Docs!

Hopefully your new card arrives soon!!

Funny I get an email today saying you already should have received your card by now here is how to activate it 😕I will give it a few more days I suppose .

I also got welcome and activation emails before receiving the physical card. I guess they have those auto sent a certain number of days after approval but for some of us that is also before we have received the card itself. This also happened with my Citi Double Cash ha! Not really cause for alarm unless its been longer than 14 days.

I had the same thing happen. I called them and they said the card usually come in a day or 2 after those in a plain envelope for security measures. Looks like your and mine will be arriving around the same time!!

Morning Jnb... when I got home last night my card was in the mail. I activated it through the app with no issues. Chose my reward catagories and all is good to go! Hope yours showed up as well!
